What it is. A public awareness map. Nairobi County says 246 areas have been mapped as flood hotspots for the October to December 2026 rains. The full list has not been released. This map shows only the places named in public statements so far, and will be updated as more are confirmed.
What it is not. Official evacuation guidance. Follow instructions from Nairobi County, Kenya Red Cross and the Ministry of Health. Do not walk or drive through floodwater.
Community reports. Reports marked as community reports come from residents and are checked by the team before they appear. They are not verified by authorities.

What is recorded. When a search finds nothing, the words searched for are counted, so the team can see which places people expect to be here and add them. Nothing that identifies you is kept. Your location is worked out on your own phone and is only sent if you submit a report or ask for alerts.
